brendaMy husband Jesse has been doing living statue in Seattle for years. I finally decided to join him. (We also needed the money...)
We conveniently had a rubber wig from Halloween.
I can see out of the glasses because some of the "paint specs" are actually places where paint is scraped off. You can see pretty well, in fact.
Because my lips naturally part in the middle and I didn't want to hold them together all day, I had to apply black wax made for blacking out teeth. It actually turned out pretty cool!
Here I am, all done up.
I had more fun than I thought I would. Normally I just go with Jesse and film him/bring him water, so it was cool to be on the other side for a change. It was very fun to scare people.
After it was all over. You can see that my paint is cracking in places...
...so I decided to smile really big, because I wasn't able to all day or else I would have to re-apply paint. (It was really hard not to laugh because sometimes I'd scare someone and it would be hilarious!)
Since we used acrylic paint, we had to shower to get it off.
I took my hair down, and decided it looked cool enough to take a picture before I washed it all away. It made me look like I had tribal paint on or something.
