I wanted to make something unique. So I bought a bunch of stuff at a craft store and assembled this.

The "puffs" are just styrofoam balls painted yellow.

The "bark" is special wire used for florists to do arrangements. I think it's called rattan.

I originally was going to have it growing out of the vase, but I like the trunk so much that I didn't want to hide it. So I just turned the vase upside down and had the roots wrap around it.

It was actually quite difficult to get the tree to grab the vase. It kept slipping off. But, after many attempts, I finally got it to stay on fairly securely.

The yellow and blue combination was inspired by a very blue painting we have in our house. Yellow compliments blue quite well.

I just put this picture in because this lighting gave it a creepier look.
