Over time spare CD's, from magazines I'm never going to read again and games that are never going to be played or sold due to lazyness, have been piling up in my room. I realised after a while that there is a limit to the amount of CD coasters you can own and planned to throw them away, until I realised this was a complete waste.
Using double sided sticky pads a row of CD's was stuck to the door, each one overlapping the last and working from bottom to top to give a scaly effect. This was slowly added to as time progessed and CD's were collected.
On top of my random useless CD collection as many free AOL trials have been "actively aquired" as possible without raising too much suspision from shop workers and now my scaly CD door has finally taken..."

So taking a 5-pack of Google pens that I got from a recent http://seattlemind.com Seattle Mind Camp and 5 3mm ultra-bright white LEDs, I set out creating a luminary masterpiece (that's also pens!).

Created by fbohmann 1 year ago: "when i moved into a nice old flat with a ceiling at roughly 3.5 meters height, i decided to put something stupid to the ceiling. strolling through ikea, i found those childrens furniture pieces made from plastic, and bought them straight away. i also bought a simple lamp to put on the table.
the chairs and the small table were diy-kits, so they consisted of parts anyway. the caps on the feet were perfect for my plan, since i could pre-mount them to the ceiling, and then attach the rest of the objects later. so for each object two opposite feet were mounted to the ceiling with just a simple screw, the lamp was mounted to the table, and the whole thing put up. the feet were secured with little nails that i put through the area where both parts match. the lamp was then connected to the mains outlet, and photos were taken.
i have to admit that it looked even better than i had imagined, everybody visiting loved the the thing, and some people responded to the upside-down picture with..."
